Doonbug Designs handcrafts all products within 2-4 business days unless otherwise clearly posted on homepage.
Often orders will process faster, but we cannot guarantee a faster processing time. If you are in a rush to receive your item(s) please email hello@doonbug.com and we will do our best to accommodate.

Please note that regular shipping within Canada generally arrives in 5 business days or less, but customs are involved in the transport of cross border parcels and Doonbug Designs is in no way responsible for delays that may occur.

The product(s) you receive might vary slightly from the product picture due to the nature of your product(s) being 100% handmade to order.

Care for your new product(s) by:
* Do NOT use washing machine!
* Handwash only, cold water, mild detergent
* Hang to dry
Your product(s) can be damaged if:
* Put in a clothes washer/dryer
* Product(s) are washed using bleach
* Product(s) are ironed

Please use the size chart found below and within each  listing to prevent errors in ordering.  In regard to Doonbug Belts, measuring with pants on and through the belt loops is extremely important to ensure a proper fit and maximum wear.  Please do not rely solely on the ages, they serve only as a general guide.  Ideally your child will be at the lower end of a size range to have the belt last as long as possible as they grow.

We ship all International products through Canada Post.

Doonbug Designs is not responsible for duty or brokerage fees for international shipping.
These charges come from your country during the importation of your package.  To remain ethical in our business practices, we are unable to mark shipments as “gifts”.

Cost calculations
We do our best to apply fair shipping costs to each order.

* We offer free shipping within Canada and USA on all orders over $40.00 CAD.
* Shipping to all other countries is a flat rate of $8.00 CAD.

Selecting expedited shipping during checkout does not ensure a faster processing time, our product may still need 2-4 days to be handmade.


Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

Personalized and/or customized goods are exempt from being returned unless the product arrives defective.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
* Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
* Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 3-5 business days.

Late or missing refunds
If you have not received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you have done all of this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us at hello@doonbug.com and we will do our best to sort out the situation with you.

Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item (i.e: sizing problem), send us an email at hello@doonbug.com and you will be provided with the mailing address.

To return your product, please email hello@doonbug.com to be provided with the mailing address.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping products over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
